Candid is built for people who don't want to be watched. Here's how that works in practice.

• Your identity is pseudonymous.

  Your email is used to sign in. It is never shown to anyone on Candid.

• Nobody can see that you looked.

  Reading a conversation, visiting a profile, or hovering nearby leaves no trace for anyone else.

• Your activity is private by default.

  Nothing in your Candid becomes public unless you explicitly choose to share it.

• Messages stay between the two of you.

  No typing indicators, no read receipts, no analysis of private exchanges.

• No advertising profile.

  We don't sell your interests, and there's no ad targeting built on what you're curious about.

Questions about your data? You can delete your Candid at any time, and everything attached to it goes with it.
